^ That's my favorite song from them. I haven't listened to much since it was released, but what I have looked into hasn't topped it for me.

I still don't have full access to YouTube, but I was excited enough when I saw this (and unattached enough to not care about quality) to give in and watch/listen to this on a random device.

Over the weekend I learned The Corrs released a new album in 2015, ten years after their previous release. I thought they had disbanded to do solo work and family stuff…

I also learned the album never got a US release, so I can't buy it on iTunes or borrow it from my public library. Hmph.

Weki Meki's new song I Don't Like Your Boyfriend came up randomly on YT, and it's so reminiscent of this Red Velvet album track from like 2 years ago! :O

OTOH Amazon has the CD for nine bucks (with free two day shipping if you happen to be a Prime member) which is right in line with what an mp3 album costs on iTunes, albeit slightly less convenient.

^ Yeah, I saw it on Amazon. It's not the price that bothers me, it's the hassle of buying and owning yet another physical CD. I've spent the last decade purging stuff like that.

^ Well, technically a person is only legally allowed to keep audio rips made for the purpose of format shifting if they also own the source CD. If the plan is to resell it and keep the rips, hypothetically one might as well save oneself all that pesky "buying" and just obtain the .flac through whatever mysterious means that people normally do such a thing.

Lorde's album Melodrama is amazing. Probably one of my favorites from this year. I can't believe she doesn't even know how to play an instrument.

Like I said: hassle. ;)

It might not seem like a big deal for one CD, but repeat that process for more than three hundred CDs and it adds up quick. (I bought a lot of crap when I was younger, after I started making real money and got a place of my own. Thus the purging in more recent years.)

Even worse, I'm a stickler for making sure the cover art is high quality (scanning and retouching my own, if necessary) and the tags are correct and complete (which is frustratingly difficult for imports), so it takes me three times as long to rip something as it might take someone else.

And when I finish all that, I still have to rip my anime soundtrack mix tapes from the '90s and my parents' rare LPs from the '60s.

Whenever I watch keyakizaka46 performances I can't help but compare them to Morning Musume'14. Anyone else feel like this?

You have the charismatic stoic center, formation dancing, and edm music.

Even some of the choreography for one of their song's eccentric is similar to renai hunter lol.

Feels like they took Morning Musume'14 as the base idea and expanded on it in with a better budget and in a more organised manner.

Johnny's Agency has warn their fans to stop with the extreme acts of behavior such as tracking their talent everywhere from stations and airports and blocking their paths. Also other acts such as taking pictures, trying to hug them, shooting an air gun at staff members, chasing the vehicles with their talent onboard and other cases that have occurred.

One thing is for sure: I need to finish ripping all of my Yoko Kanno CDs. I'm listening to my playlist of the CDs I've already ripped, and it's…

I literally have no words for it. I want to say "magical" or "stunning" or "wonderful" or "breathtaking", but none of those seem good enough. I just clicked Shuffle All, so it's bouncing from orchestral score to jazz fusion to new age to female vocal to blues-y rock to tribal electronica to… you name it. She can even make a simply music box melody that will break your heart.

Spoiler: show
My playlist so far…

Soundtracks:

- KOEI Game Music Works
- Macross Plus [Soundtrack 1]
- Macross Plus [Soundtrack 2]
- Macross Plus: For Fans Only
- Macross Plus: The Cream P・U・F
- Please Save My Earth [Soundtrack 3]
- The Vision of Escaflowne [Soundtrack 1]
- The Vision of Escaflowne [Soundtrack 2]
- The Vision of Escaflowne [Soundtrack 3]
- The Vision of Escaflowne: lovers only
- X Character File
- Brain Powerd [Soundtrack 1]
- Brain Powerd [Soundtrack 2]
- Cowboy Bebop [Soundtrack]
- Cowboy Bebop: No Disc
- Cowboy Bebop: Vitaminless
- Cowboy Bebop: Blue
- Cowboy Bebop "Knockin' on heaven's door": Ask DNA [EP]
- Cowboy Bebop "Knockin' on heaven's door": O.S.T. Future Blues
- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex [Soundtrack 1]

With Maaya Sakamoto:

- Grapefruit
- DIVE
- Hotchpotch
- Easy Listening
- Lucy
- Nikopachi

Other:

- Otoko no Ko, Onna no Ko (with Kyoko Koizumi)
- Sora no Mori (with Akino Arai)
- Song to fly (solo experimental)

And I still have another 15–20 CDs to rip — more recent purchases that I haven't gotten to yet.

I wonder if new measurements of success are part of the reason they recently dropped the YouTube region lock on AKB content.
